Ed Pingol Photography
I got to work with Ed Pingol this wedding season and it was a pleasure working together. Him, his wife Monica, and his brother are a dope team representing Vallejo, California. I haven't seen work like his anywhere and I've worked over 40 weddings this year. Definitely check him out, and while your at it, check out the behind the scenes photo he made of the crews. Peace.

Ryan Leslie.
I've followed this cat since he produced "Down For Me" by Loon, and "Hot 2 Nite" by New Edition back in the day. I was always feelin' his beats. Some grown & sexy. Here he is producing one of my favorite tracks he's made entitled "Just Right" (wait til' after the first song that plays out). Hella fresh!
SDE from this past weekend
Here is the SDE (same day edit) from this past weekend. Very cool couple to work with. Had a good crowd reaction along with the chanting of our name "lumitone" at the end. Compared to Joel's (SDE editor) current faster and upbeat work, this one is a slower paced one, but still a joy to watch. Enjoy.

I Got Gigs Now. Not dance moves, but storage space.
I am pretty juiced about my new hard drive because I've had a bunch of music on an external that have been waiting to be listened to. I couldn't put them on my comp because my ish was way packed with other things such as Final Cut Studio (50 gigs), Garageband Jampacks (30 gigs), Music (25 gigs), Logic Express (10 gigs) etc. Did I mention my old drive was a 160 gig? And formatted its only like 140 gigs? Anyways, my whole point is to share a song I came across while importing all my stored music. It puts the "sex" in sexy. Enjoy.

Busy Season = Over.
This past weekend was hella dope because I finally got two straight days off. I started out watching the 49ers lose, then finished the night partying with Chloe Miyeko and people I love. Here's the SDE from this past weekend. A cool crowd to work with. Enjoy.

Weekend Update..
Didn't do anything this weekend because I was double booked. It was fun working with Marietta & Merve on saturday because they both had fun, outgoing and humorous personalities. Not to mention, the bridal party were a crazy bunch as well. They made me feel right at home! Sunday was more chill with a short 8 hour day in one location. And...the niners lost. Weak.
Here's Saturday's SDE. Enjoy.

I know I'm not the hardcore activist/political revolutionist, but I do believe in change. I'm sure you'll agree that our country needs one. VOTE!
Here is a song I was listening to the other day. I am not bias, but NAS is just one of the few rappers that push me to challenge both Music & Hip-Hop. Listen.

Support The Art.
A Leaf Bug, Nostalgia, Good Times.
Before I left work Saturday afternoon I noticed a random green leaf on the roof of my car. There was a little breeze that afternoon so I was wondering why it wasn't blowing off. As I looked closer I was reassured it was a leaf. However, it wasn't just a leaf. It was a Leaf-Bug! (I know thats wack but it was cool at the time)

The couple I worked with this weekend had their wedding in Aptos, Ca. Driving down highway 17 brought me back to the glory days at UCSC. Definitely miss those times, but thankful for the present. The ceremony was near a really nice beach so I was able to capture some stunning footage. I will post the same day edit soon. Joel (editor) was working in a very tight timeline so he only had about 5.5 hours to put his piece together before the presentation. Stay tuned for that!
The night ended with Big D's birthday bash. Always good times with folks. Good music, hella good food, and great laughs. I am blessed with good friends.

1 Weekend. 2 Weddings. 2 Same Day Edits. 3.5 hrs of sleep.
What a weekend! My man Joel running on 27 straight days of work was able to turn out some sick same day presentations this past weekend. It definitely helps when bridal parties are fun and outgoing. I can honestly say it made my job easy and help me stay awake. I had the luxury of working with Wolfe and Lacasse (co-workers) so it was interesting to see the combination of chemistry. Sunday's presentation requested the song entitled "Stolen" by Dashboard Confessional. Joel used this song before so he knew exactly how the flow of the edit would be. Back to back weddings are always tuff, but they definitely had a rewarding finale. Enjoy.

Bay Area Reppin'
Here is the "same day" video presentation from this past weekend. I'm still new to the blogging society, so I apologize for the late postings. This couple "hella" represented for Union City. Hella fun to work with. The footage came out hella fresh. Especially because I was on steady-cam for the entire ceremony, the photo session, up to their first dance. Much props to my crew Joel G. & Alex W. Enjoy.

Quality time & Leftovers.
I can always take something from conversations with my mom. Tonight's insight was on the power of positive thinking. I've read a ton of books about leadership and the power of positive thinking, but tonight has inspired me to do more of it. More and more I realize that my mother and I are completely the same. We are firm believers of taking in everything as it comes to us, both negative and positive. No matter what situation arises, there's always a solution. We understand that change comes and goes, often. But we also understand that forward progression is the foundation of all our actions. Especially in a marriage, where you are constantly challenged by the world, the only thing that matters is who you are standing with in the end.
Nothing beats good conversation and leftovers (Meatloaf, steak, seasoned potatoes, a KFC chicken breast, and a riceball from Boston). They were portioned of course...
