Weekend Update..

Didn't do anything this weekend because I was double booked. It was fun working with Marietta & Merve on saturday because they both had fun, outgoing and humorous personalities. Not to mention, the bridal party were a crazy bunch as well. They made me feel right at home! Sunday was more chill with a short 8 hour day in one location. And...the niners lost. Weak.

Here's Saturday's SDE. Enjoy.

I know I'm not the hardcore activist/political revolutionist, but I do believe in change. I'm sure you'll agree that our country needs one. VOTE!

Here is a song I was listening to the other day. I am not bias, but NAS is just one of the few rappers that push me to challenge both Music & Hip-Hop. Listen.

A Leaf Bug, Nostalgia, Good Times.

Before I left work Saturday afternoon I noticed a random green leaf on the roof of my car. There was a little breeze that afternoon so I was wondering why it wasn't blowing off. As I looked closer I was reassured it was a leaf. However, it wasn't just a leaf. It was a Leaf-Bug! (I know thats wack but it was cool at the time)

The couple I worked with this weekend had their wedding in Aptos, Ca. Driving down highway 17 brought me back to the glory days at UCSC. Definitely miss those times, but thankful for the present. The ceremony was near a really nice beach so I was able to capture some stunning footage. I will post the same day edit soon. Joel (editor) was working in a very tight timeline so he only had about 5.5 hours to put his piece together before the presentation. Stay tuned for that!

The night ended with Big D's birthday bash. Always good times with folks. Good music, hella good food, and great laughs. I am blessed with good friends.

1 Weekend. 2 Weddings. 2 Same Day Edits. 3.5 hrs of sleep.

What a weekend! My man Joel running on 27 straight days of work was able to turn out some sick same day presentations this past weekend. It definitely helps when bridal parties are fun and outgoing. I can honestly say it made my job easy and help me stay awake. I had the luxury of working with Wolfe and Lacasse (co-workers) so it was interesting to see the combination of chemistry. Sunday's presentation requested the song entitled "Stolen" by Dashboard Confessional. Joel used this song before so he knew exactly how the flow of the edit would be. Back to back weddings are always tuff, but they definitely had a rewarding finale. Enjoy.
